Yamaha is a brand with an impeccable pedigree. Since 1989, Yamaha has sold more than a million Pacificas worldwide and with good reason.
With the Pacifica series, Yamaha actually rewrote the book on what was to be expected from electric guitars at these prices forcing brands such as Fender, Epiphone and Ibanez to reassess their own offerings and upgrade their own models. The winners have been electric guitar buyers the world over.
Pacifica is much more than just an entry level brand however and as players made their journey through the range they were introduced to brands such as Warmouth, Wilkison and Seymour Duncan along with features such as compound radius fretboards and more.
With bolt-on neck construction and 25 1/2″ (648mm) scale length, the Pacifica 510V offers amazing touch and tone along with the flexibility of down tuning without becoming floppy and sloppy.
The body is constructed from solid Alder and the Maple neck features a Rosewood fretboard with a 13 3/4″ (350mm) radius and 22 nickel silver frets.
Premium Grover Locking Tuners take care of tuning duties while the Wilkinson VS50-6 tremelo provides smooth and accurate string bends and enhanced sustain.
There may only be one pickup but this is no “one-trick-pony”! The Seymour Duncan Trembucker P-Rails is an absolute work of art and with the 3 position toggle switch takes you from single coil to P90 right through to shredalicious humbucking tones.
The control layout is simple yet effective with a Master Volume, Master Tone and three position pickup switcher.
