This hand crafted Natura O550E has a book-matched, quartersawn solid Spruce soundboard cut from the sustainable timbers of the Pacific Northwestern USA.
The NATURA 0550E features an elegant and environmentally friendly UV Cured open-pore satin finish.
Low-Mass Scalloped-X Soundboard Design
Inspired by some of the great Luthiers of our time, bridge design concepts, and “drillium,” Walden’s Low-Mass Scalloped-X bracing brings a clarity, volume and immediacy to the voice of the Walden guitar. This bracing system reduces the overall mass while maintaining stability meaning the strings do not have to work as hard to activate the soundboard. The result is a truly exceptional sounding instrument. Walden’s Low-Mass bracing is a work of art and precision adding strength to the soundboard without inhibiting its ability to resonate – hearing is believing.
