Built for the rigours of the road, the all solid construction featuring Queensland Maple back and sides with an A Grade Sitka Spruce Top make the SRS60C a tone machine.

The Maton SRS series of guitars is the culmination of years of development and fine tuning by Maton’s senior luthiers and production designers. The comparison to expensive USA built guitars is obvious, however, Maton punches well above its weight and is now a regular sight on international stages.
Improving the neck geometry, bracing patterns and body construction of their acoustic guitars has produced stunning results. Improved neck/body geometry produces a neck that is a joy to play. Difficult chord shapes and complex single note runs are much easier to execute and increased tonal response improves acoustic projection. A bone nut and saddle ensure maximum tone and sustain.
Increased efficiency and improved production methods have made it possible to produce these all solid timber guitars more effectively than ever before – the playability and tonal benefits are amazing.
The backs and tops of these guitars are able to resonate more freely and have a huge dynamic range. The ramped bracing of the SRS60C creates a focused, bright yet balanced tone.
This Maton SRS60C features a natural Satin pre-catalysed Nitro-cellulose lacquer finish.

Pro-SCM setup for optimum comfort and playability
This is a fine guitar still, our regular customers are fussy and our Pro-SCM setup ensures optimum playability. Frets are checked for level, the ends are hand rolled and the frets then polished. Both fretboard and bridge are oiled and polished. If you have a preference for string height, let us know when you make your purchase. The nut will be deburred of sharp edges and nut slots cut to ensure easy action. The saddle will also be check and adjusted as required. Once again, this is your opportunity to have this guiatr set up to your requirements. Yamaha provide 12-53 gauge strings. If you would like your brand new guitar set up with a different gauge or brand of strings, let us know – you only pay for the strings!
