The SEIKO DM51 Clip On Metronome is compact, convenient, easy-to-use and lets you observe the tempos of your ride. The DM51 is also small enough to attach to your helmet, jacket or saddle cloth.
The DM51 is a superb tool for measuring the tempo or regularity of the footfalls of your horse. Tempo refers to the speed of the footfalls and the DM51 will assist in training your Horse to keep an even rhythm thereby maintaining the timing of the gaits. With the DM51 metronome you will be able to monitor and correct minor losses of both rhythm and tempo during training.
As a general guide most horses will walk at approximately 55 beats per minute, trot at 75 bpm and canter at 95 bpm (+ or – 3 bpm).
