The pedal has a dual chain drive mechanism which provides a more stable and a smoother pull when playing. The thinner base plate underneath the foot plate is adjustable to suit your individual needs and because of the lower amount of metal used, cuts down on the overall weight of the unit.
The beaters are of the hard felt/plastic combination type which give a harder or softer attack depending on your preference or playing conditions and the connecting shaft is square and so won t slip when playing.
