London born, Ken (KT) Taylor is a celebrated bassist, songwriter and composer. Based in Germany, Ken has been a permanent member of the Peter Maffay Band since 1993. His impressive body of work encompasses both stage and studio work with artists that has included John Mayall, Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker, Christine McVie, Keb ‘Mo’, Brian May ( Another World ), Bruce Springsteen, Robert Palmer, Sally Oldfield, Smokie, Alphaville and the Scorpions with the Berliner Philharmoniker – to name but a few. Ken Taylor has also worked with producers such as Giorgio Moroder and Frank Farian…this guy is a serious musician…and his signature KT-Walker bass is a serious piece of kit.

The 625mm short scale adds to the versatility of this instrument. The satin finished Mahogany neck feels smooth and fast allowing your fretting hand to slide around with unparalleled ease. The Pau Ferro fretboard is finished off with Mother-of-Pearl Roman Numeral position markers.
Onstage and in the studio is where the KT-Walker V2 really with an industry standard Fishman Presys+ preamp system giving you the power and control needed to shape your sound. Adjusting your tone is easy with bass, middle, and treble dials along with notch, brilliance and phase dials for comprehensive sonic control.
Custom designed Ortega ODW-4 machine heads keep your bass in tune as well as adding to the visual appeal of the KT-Walker-V2. The two-way truss keeps offers easy neck adjustment.
