In 2014, KHS released their Nuova line of Brass and Woodwind instruments to great acclaim. The range offered a Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone and Alto Saxophone – all at amazing prices. You get everything you expect from a global brand, production consistency, 12 month warranty, zero quality issues and stand out features with a feel that gently nods towards the brands prestige lineage.
The impact of Nuova in the entry-level market was instant and with little wonder. Nuova carried over the design and production expertise of one of the worlds leading instrument manufacturers whilst remaining accessible & affordable to the young, aspiring musician.
Nuova was designed and built by KHS, the company responsible for the Jupiter range of brass & woodwind instruments. The quality and durability of components such as the valves and slides were given particular consideration and attention. Built in the same factories as Jupiter instruments, Nuova incorporated the use of multi-million dollar CNC technology which resulted in unequalled production consistency.
Unfortunately, KHS pulled the pin on Nuova. The decision was not made lightly but rising costs made it impossible to build these instruments at their target prices.

The Nuova Student Trombone is a great student model trombone. It’s easy blowing 12.7mm Bore, 203mm bell and mouthpiece are perfect for young players. Hard chrome nickel plated inner slides and brass outer slide are built to last while offering smooth action. The build quality is of a very high standard and it’s supplied with a mouthpiece and a lightweight padded case.
