Maton set the bar high when they began development of the new SRS Road Series Acoustic Guitar range.
The culmination of years of development and fine tuning by Maton’s senior luthiers and production designers, the results speak for themselves with a range of guitars that have redefined what is possible in a production built Acoustic guitar.

Maton have improved the neck geometry, bracing patterns and body construction of this new range of acoustic guitars with stunning results and improved production methods have made it possible to produce these all solid timber guitars more effectively than ever before and the playability and tonal benefits are amazing.
The Top and Back of the SRS60C Road Series Guitar resonates more freely with a huge dynamic range while the redesigned ramped bracing delivers a balanced bass and mid-range response. The higher frequencies are bright, focused and simply chime!
Improved neck/body geometry produces a neck that is a joy to play. Difficult chord shapes and complex single note runs are much easier to execute and increased tonal response improves acoustic projection. A genuine bone nut and saddle ensure maximum tone and sustain.
The New Solid Road Series SRS60C features solid Queensland Maple Back and Sides while the Top is book matched, “A” Grade Sitka Spruce.
The neck is made from Queensland Maple. Both the Fretboard and Bridge are made from Indian Rosewood – a highly prized tonewood that is becoming harder to source making this guitar a future collectable. While its true that Maton a building their best guitars ever, this guitar will still undergo a PRO-SCM setup to ensure optimum playability.
