This Left Handed Mini Maton Diesel Special Model is a small bodied guitar with a very big voice. Smaller than a standard dreadnought, this guitar packs a punch well above its weight.
When Mark Lizotte – aka Diesel, broached the subject of a small bodied performance based electro-acoustic guitar with the designers at Maton, they not only rose to the challenge – the knocked it out of the park! The Mini Maton Diesel Model has gone on to become a firm favourite with guitarists the world over and for a myriad of reasons – whether for performance, recording, travel or just knocking about at home – the Mini Maton Diesel Special is a great guitar and has since gone on to inspire a whole series of “Mini-Maton” models.

This Mini Maton Diesel Special features a special double X-braced “AA Select” Grade Solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Victorian Blackwood back and sides, s Rosewood Fingerboard and a gorgeous Vintage Amber Stain.
Tuning machines are gold grovers and amplified duties are taken care of with one of the best acoustic guitar pickup systems in the world – the Maton AP5.
A Maton Standard Mini Hardcase is also included.
This guitar, just like every Maton sold by southcoastmusic will be thoroughly checked in our workshop and undergo a PRO-SCM setup to ensure optimum playability.
