This beautiful Martin GPCRSGT Grand Performance Acoustic Electric Guitar features a gloss top, Sapele back and sides. Acoustically this baby really sings. While your Grandfather may have played a Martin, it definitely wasn’t the GPCRSGT . Outfitted with Fishman Sonitone electronics, plugged in, this guitar is the real deal and sounds simply amazing. With the addition of USB connectivity, you can connect directly with a Mac or a PC DAW and start recording. If you’ve got a recording APP and USB input on your smartphone, you got the ability to record your inspiration as and when it happens!
Hand Crafted in Mexico, the GPCRSGT still boasts that timeless, signature sound and more than lives up to the name on the headstock. The guitar is made at Martin’s Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico, factory making it much more affordable than similar models originating at the company’s Nazareth, Pennsylvania factory. If this guitar is any indication, the Mexican factory is producing instruments that are just as well-built as the renowned American-made Martins.
The sound of our guitar is punchy – just like a Martin while retaining excellent tonal balance with clear, harmonically charged trebles and a tight and focused bottom end.
The Fishman Sonitone works beautifully with great string balance and features soundhole mounted volume and tone controls.
The Martin GPCRSGT is one of the first Grand Performance body sizes in the Road Series and comes equipped with Martin SP Lifespan strings and a hardshell case.
This model has the look and sound of a cherished Martin guitar at an affordable price. The GPCRSGT is a players guitar and our PRO-SCM setup ensures that. The slim Performing Artist profile neck with its 1.75″ fits nicely underhand of all but the biggest paws. Tuning stability and intonation are both top-shelf.
