The new Line 6 Catalyst CX100 combo guitar amplifier delivers the incredible tones of a traditional guitar amp along with the versatility and features sought after by today’s guitarists.
The ruggedly constructed 100 watt Catalyst CX100 with its custom designed 12″ speaker is the perfect amplifier for practice, recording or live performance. Powerful enough for most gigs, stage ready features include a balanced XLR Line Output allowing connection straight into a larger PA system if required.
Line 6 have drawn on their legendary Helix Amplifier and Effects Modeling processor to equip the Catalyst CX100 amplifier with 12 superb Amp Voicings that range from pristine clean to modern high gain tones. Each Amp Voicing is matched with a custom Boost type, and there are also 24 HX-quality effects spanning four effects categories. Additional features include a built-in Tuner, a Tap Tempo button, an effects loop and MIDI functionality.
The Catalyst CX100 also functions as a 4-channel USB recording interface while the free Catalyst Edit app for desktop and mobile devices provides deep editing capabilities. The Catalyst Edit app allows you to adjust a variety of amp settings including gain and EQ as well as providing deep control of the amp with parameters such as HUM, BIAS and SAG, noise gate, cab simulation and virtual microphone placement.
Catalyst CX100 features a power attenuator with four switchable modes; 100 watts, 50 watts, 0.5 watts and mute. There is also a Power Amp input that allows you to use the Catalyst CX as a powered speaker.
