Maton build magnificent guitars – fact. Maton guitars have inspired and delighted countless players the world over and the fact that they have been doing it for more than 70 years is both admirable and praiseworthy.
With the New Solid Road Series, Maton made major changes to how they build guitars. The result is a range of guitars that well and truly deserve to stand alongside the best of the best from anywhere in the world.
The new Maton Solid Road Series of guitars are the culmination of years of product development and fine tuning by Maton’s senior luthiers and production designers.
Major improvements include improved neck geometry, bracing patterns and body construction along with state-of-the-art production methods have made it possible to produce a range of all solid timber guitars ready for the world stage.
The backs and tops of these guitars are able to resonate more freely and have a huge dynamic range. The scalloped bracing of the SRS70C provides a superior bass response, rich midrange and shimmering highs.
The improved neck/body geometry has resulted in a neck that is a joy to play. Difficult chord shapes and complex single note runs are much easier to execute and the increased tonal response improves acoustic projection. A bone nut and saddle ensure maximum tone and sustain.
Maton’s Solid Road Series guitars have redefined what is possible from a production built guitar.
