Sir John Pearse was a true pioneer and innovator of strings.
He was one of the first string manufacturers to use Perlon – also know as Nylon6. Developed in Germany during the early 1950s, Perlon is prized for its strength, flexibility and resistance to wear and tear. John continued to experiment, eventually developing his own bonded molecule formulation that shares many of the tonal characteristics of gut strings but are much more stable in pitch and generally have a faster response.
John Pearse 4500 Violin strings are a violinist’s dream. They are incredibly stable and hold their tune. They also have a superb feel, instant response and great projection. They should make an ordinary violin sound good and a good violin incredible.
Perfect for the soloist whether in an orchestral or country setting – they have to be tried at least once.
