Jackson JS23 Dinky in Snow White
The new JS23 is the perfect axe to bring you into the age of the Super Strat. Despite being billed as an entry level model, the “Dinky” boasts high quality building materials including Indian Rosewood fretboard and Indian Cedro body. It also has a compound radius neck – a feature normally only found on higher end guitars – which gives the perfect compromise between string height (allowing for faster speed – quite possibly an important consideration for you if you are looking at a Jackson) and overall action, playability and comfort.
The main difference between the JS22R (an equally-well-priced, alternative Jackson) and this are the standard orientation headstock and “Single Single Humbucker” pickup configuration on this model. Your choice will mainly depend on whether you need the single coil sound or not as well as the finish you want. The JS23 is an affordable Super Strat with killer looks, great build and hardware quality that is perfect for those looking for a guitar with attitude!
