The Ibanez SR805 Electric Bass Guitar embodies the SR philosophy with its precision crafted four-point bolt-on Jatoba/Bubinga neck, super fast and thin, comfortable SR5 neck shape along with a beautifully slippery and light-weight body shape.
The proprietry Ibanez Accu-cast B305 bridge is as good as anything available today and provides a solidly anchored and easily adjustable action. Bartolini are renowned as the masters of Bass Guitar pickup construction and this pair of Bartolini MK1 pickups deliver the goods with a very wide frequency range along with enhanced definition for maximum accuracy. Just in case you need a little “extra”…the EQB-IIIS active EQ system provides a wide variety of tone sculpting possibilities.
Retaining strength without compromising the integrity of the initial design is a well known challenge for Bass Guitar manufacturers. Ibanez are masters. Coupling Jatoba with Bubinga has made the neck strong and stable despite its thinness.
Bartolini® MK1 Pickups
The MK1 pickups are split coil designs that provides a very wide frequency range and enhanced definition for maximum accuracy. The Neck and Bridge pickups have equal response, like traditional single coils, but without the hum and noise.
Jatoba/Bubinga Slim Neck
Coupling Jatoba with Bubinga has made the neck strong and stable despite its thinness.
Extended Neck Joint
The neck tongue not only creates a unique look, it also makes utilising the higher frets easier.
Total Control
The EQB-IIIS active EQ system provides an incredible variety of tone sculpting possibilities.
