As well as its wicked cinnamon top, features of the Limited Edition IBANEZ RG420CM include IBANEZ’s double-locking Edge III tremelo system which gives rise to radical dive-bomb effects and sonic chaos with unsurpassed tuning stability.
The new Edge III is similar in construction and feel to the original Edge locking tremelo with the addition of lower profile fine-tuners inspired by the Lo-PRO Edge and massive new-design saddles.
The Edge III features two screws in the arm pocket, which allow easy adjustment of the arm height and torque. In the last two decades, no other guitar maker besides Ibanez has done so much to advance the art and science of the tremolo.
The Edge III represents the state-of-the-art in locking tremolos.
The RG420 also boasts a 24 jumbo fret, thin 3-piece Wizard II neck for fast and effortless shredding. The Wizard II neck features a bound Rosewood Fretboard with Sharktooth Inlays.
