The RG1070PBZ is one of the Ibanez Premium series range of electric guitars.
Designed to tick all of your boxes, this stunning guitar is every bit about substance as it is style.
At the heart of the RG1070PBZ is a solid Basswood body capped with a beautifully figured Poplar Burl top with natural top and side binding. The Brown Topaz Burst finish is simply gorgeous and adds a further touch of class to what is already an exceptional guitar.
Ibanez build great guitars and their necks are simply made to be played. The RG1070PBZ Wizard neck has been hand crafted from 11 laminated layers of timber that includes Wenge, Bubinga, Maple and Purpleheart. Featuring Ibanez’s slim grip shape, it is supremely comfortable and incredibly stable – the 11-ply laminated construction contributing to the neck’s extreme rigidity and enhanced sustain.
The combination of stainless steel frets set into the African Wenge fretboard is first class. Stainless steel frets are very desirable and expensive. They are extremely durable, tarnish resistant and feel smooth and slinky – perfect for string bends and vibrato.
Their incredible hardness means that you will also enjoy these benefits for much longer than with normal nickel silver frets. Luminescent dot fretboard position markers have also been inlayed into the upper side of the fretboard making playing on dark stages much easier – and did we mention that they also look cool.
The quality of the electronics and attention to detail are also top shelf. Belden wiring has been used to connect all components and the control cavity features copper shielding. A trio of US made DiMarzio pickups – the Air Norton, True Velvet and Tone Zone pickups offer unrivalled sonic versatility and responsive dynamics.
The Ibanez Edge-Zero II double locking tremolo bridge provides exceptional tuning stability under the heaviest use, precise intonation adjustment and playing comfort. Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads also help to keep string-changing time to a minimum.
An Ibanez Premium Gigbag is included.
The superb hand selected tone-woods, world-class electronics and unrivaled playability – thanks to our Pro-SCM setup – of the Ibanez RG1070PBZ Premium series electric guitar are all designed to inspire you to create music. Our guitar is brand new and unplayed.
