The Ibanez PCBE12MH Grand Concert Acoustic – Electric Bass Guitar features a full Mahogany constructions for a warm, full tone while the Open Pore Natural finish not only enhances the instrument’s natural beauty, it also contributes to the tonal quality.
Thick, heavy finishes can impede the vibration of a guitar’s body, “choking” the instruments tone and projection. The lightly applied natural Open Pore finish optimises sound vibration and allows the bass to realise it’s full sound potential.
The Ibanez AEQ202T preamp has been specifically designed to allow you to tailor the frequencies of your bass. It also provides operation of the built-in tuner without the instrument being plugged in.
The Ibanez PCBE12MH also features a tortoiseshell rosette and pickguard, chrome die-cast tuners plus a Treated New Zealand Kauri Pine fretboard and Rosewood bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins for improved tuning stability.

Pro-SCM Setup
With over 50 years of experience to draw from, this Performance Series model has raised the bar on what can be expected from an economical, entry-level instrument. We mentioned our PRO-SCM setup. This is a great instrument but the added attention of the PRO-SCM setup makes it an exceptional bass! Our Technician Hand rolls the fret ends, removing any sharp edges and burrs. The frets are then polished to a mirror finish. The neck, saddle and nut are adjusted as required, the fingerboard oiled and tuners tightened. As a paid service, expect to pay at least $250 for this work – it’s included with this offer at no extra charge. You may buy cheaper but you will not buy better than this – anywhere and they definitely don’t come out of the box like this.
