The AEG1812II features a Spruce top with Mahogany back & sides body in a classic Dark Violin Sunburst High Gloss finish. The 12 strings deliver a gorgeous, harmonically rich tone that is both pleasing and inspiring.
The Fishman® Sonicore Pickup accurately translates that full 12 string acoustic sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into, while the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 active Preamp provides the articulate control of onboard EQ. The Preamp also features an easy-to-read digital chromatic tuner located on the upper bout for added convenience.
Other features include Chrome Die-Cast tuners, a Treated New Zealand Kauri Pine fretboard and Ovangkol bridge. The specially designed Ibanez Advantage Bridge pins offer improved tuning stability.
