It’s a fact that with more tablets being released every year – all in slightly different sizes – the task of finding a suitable mount for your specific device can be difficult . . . until now!
The Giants of the Music Stand Industry, Hercules have heeded the call and addressed that issue with the DG305B by implementing two simple points of adjustment to take care of virtually any tablet. The top bracket can be easily slid up and down to suit the length of your device and is then locked into place with a nifty little ratchet device…simple!
Two other arms extend out in a V-shape to attach to the bottom corners of the device. With the ratchet lock on these arms released, you can easily open or close their reach to match the dimensions of your tablet and then secure them in place for just the right fit.
The Hercules DG305B is pure genius and holds in place firmly once set. The DG305B is easy to adjust should you need to change to a different sized tablet. We don’t think that you ask for more.

While it’s true that the use of tablets for Music production has increased exponentially, the DG305B application set doesn’t end there…Hercules have definitely looked outside the square and the DG305B is suited to a much wider range of uses than its worthy predessor – which has been taken into account with the new mounting options.
The first and most logical is for mounting the holder on a microphone stand or similar device. Easily and firmly attached to the upright of the stand, the DG305B may then be adjusted to the appropriate angle to suit the user.
A second mounting option, a suction cup clamp, allows you to attach the DG305B to a ‘clean’ benchtop or even a window ( a car windscreen for example) or even another tablet!
This makes the DG305B perfect for a range of studio options where you may want the tablet placed in a location where the use of a microphone stand is not practical such as your desk for instance.
