Inspired by the pivotal and prolific years of Gretsch’s golden age through the 1950s and early ’60s, this Vintage Select Edition guitar has been designed for the discerning player who appreciates the finest in musical instrument heritage.
Finished in iconic Cadillac Green lacquer with gold hardware, this new G6128T-57 Vintage Select series ’57 Duo Jet™ with Bigsby® rocks that legacy to perfection.
The Duo Jet is the Gretsch’s flagship solid body guitar. Introduced in 1953, the Duo Jet packs signature power and punch from its chambered mahogany body, magnifying harmonic richness by letting air resonate between the top and body for livelier and more articulate tone.
Back in the 1950s, Gretsch produced a very small run of Duo Jets in handsomely uptown Cadillac Green with gold hardware, which is exactly what you have here, along with dual TV Jones® T-Armond™ pickups that replicate the sought after vintage DynaSonic™ sound.
The appointments are first class and include a genuine Gretsch hard shell case.
This Vintage Select Duo-Jet has been hand crafted to the highest standards in Japan. We are know for taking things to the next level and this beauty comes complete with a Pro-SCM setup.
