For many, the 1950s were Fender’s Golden Era with instruments that redefined the genre and continue to excite and inspire musicians to this day. For players who desire the style and sound of that era, Fender have created the Vintera® ‘50s Stratocaster®.
This Vintera is a wonderful guitar – made to be played and equipped with the features that defined the Stratocaster through that decade including a period correct neck profile, vintage style hardware and specially vintage voiced pickups with all of the chime and articulation that made the Stratocaster a legend.
For those authentic, vintage-style tones Fender have voiced the trio of single-coil Stratocaster pickups to sound just like the originals. Crystalline and bell-like, they have the crisp, articulate tone and definition that put Fender on the musical map.
Having nailed the sound Fender then paid close attention to the construction and feel of the Vintera Stratocaster. The updated “Soft V”-shaped neck has a R7.25″ radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets that delivers the highly coveted feel and ergonomics of a vintage ’50s Strat. The Vintera hardware radiates vintage-style including the six-point synchronized tremolo and tuning machines – all providing original era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and modern tuning stability.
Other features include vintage-style strap buttons, 5-way pickup switching and the traditional Strat® control layout. A Deluxe Fender Gig Bag is also included along with our renowned PRO-SCM setup for your playing pleasure.
