The Fender Squier Bronco Bass Guitar is the perfect instrument for beginners and those who simply like their bass guitars a little more compact! Add our world renowned PRO-SCM setup and all you have to do is play!
Before you read any further, let us tell you about our PRO-SCM setup. It’s quite simple really, we check string height at the nut, saddle, 12th and 20th fret. If the instrument needs adjusting – and that may be by request – as part of our PRO-SCM process, we do it. A low action may be hampered by uneven frets – nothing sinister with that either. The frets may simply have settled that way. The solution? We dress, recrown and polish the frets. Fret ends are notorious for being a little sharp – we hand roll them too. Tuners and electronics are also checked.
We do this work every single day of the week and are booked out weeks ahead. When you consider that this work is worth up to $300 or even more – what you are getting from southcoastmusic is a gift. We understand too if you can do this your self and don’t see the value – in which case you can buy this instrument with a factory setup at an even lower price…either way, its a win-win!
The Bronco was a model introduced by Fender in mid 1967. Based on the Fender Mustang electric guitar, it was built until 1981. Originally an electric guitar, Fender have re-introduced the Bronco – only this time as a bass guitar and best of all – it’s a Squier which means that its affordable too!
Many people may not be aware that the V.C. Squier Company manufactured strings for violins, banjos and guitars. Established in 1890 by VC Squier in Battle Creek, Michigan, the company was acquired by Fender in 1965. By 1982 Fender was already selling its strings under the Fender brand and it was decided to use Squier as its brand for lower priced versions of Fender guitars.
Squier guitars have gone on to become one of the world’s most popular guitar brands with a combination of timeless designs, excellent build quality, playability and innovation.
