Fender Pre-Wired Strat pickguards are a quick and painless easy way to give your guitar a makeover by replacing your old pickguard and pickups. The Fender Strat HSS SHAW/G4 SHELL offers a faux tortoiseshell pickguard hand-assembled in the same Californian factory as their iconic guitars. Fitted with a Shawbucker humbucker, Fender Gen 4 Noiseless single-coil middle and neck pickups, pickup switch, potentiometers and fully finished electrics, there isn’t an easier way to customise your guitar’s tone.
There’s not much left for you to do other than remove the old pickguard, solder the output jack and ground wires, bolt on the new pickguard and head out into the world armed with classic Fender tone.
The common denominator of the Shawbucker humbucker (created by noted industry guru Tim Shaw) and Gen 4 Noiseless single-coil pickups is their noise immunity.
