This U.S. designed Fender Paramount PM1 acoustic guitar has been finely crafted and specially voiced to bring your artistic vision to life. This thoroughly modern dreadnought guitar features all solid construction along with many ‘Art-Deco’ inspired legacy design elements of classic ’60s Fender Acoustic Guitars, including special checkerboard binding and rosettes, unique pickguard shape along with abalone and mother-of-pearl “Concert Tone” fretboard inlays.

While the Art-Deco touches are classy and thoughtful, the Paramount PM1 still retains its footing in modern design. The design brief with the Fender Paramount series was to build a series of guitars delivering the contemporary “modern American Acoustic sound” without the hefty price tag. The only way this was achieveable was to have the guitars handcrafted by the best Luthiers in China.

Fender have succeeded and the PM1 dreadnought has wonderful projection with a tight and punchy low end, balanced mids and that all-important “American” sounding upper-mid tone. It could be said that this guitar has been Tailor-made for players exhibiting a taste for $4K+ acoustic guitars with a sub-$1500 budget.

The PM1 also features the all new Fender and Fishman designed PM preamp system.The Preamp has been specially voiced for each body shape in the series, ensuring complete tonal control and variation. As well as bass and treble EQ controls for fine tuning your amplified sound, there is a highly accurate built in tuner which is fast and responsive and the phase switch lets you cut out feedback on stage.

Resplendent in a truly elegant natural finish, the Paramount Deluxe Dreadnought features not only thoughtful vintage appointments, but also the craftsmanship of a truly high-performing instrument. The PM1 has been hand crafted from premium all-solid tone woods such as solid mahogany (back and sides) and a bookmatched solid Sitka spruce top.

Equipped with quartersawn scalloped “X” bracing, the Deluxe dreadnought is designed with a freely vibrating, resonant tone in mind. There is much more depth to the tone than you’d expect from a guitar in this price range. Other ‘Pro’ features include a fast-playing “C”-shaped mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, both of which are designed to accommodate the most demanding playing styles.
