Cort Jade Classic Pastel Series
Inspired by the look of the 50’s and the “rock n roll” era, this Cort Jade series guitar is for players looking for a smaller body guitar that’s the opposite of conventional. A radical new look for the Jade series, Cort have utilised all-Mahogany construction for a warm, sweet tone with excellent projection. The Sky Blue Open Pore Pastel finish is pure retro and perfectly complimented by the pearloid pick guard and head stock facing.
All Mahogany Construction
The construction of the hand crafted Jade Classic is a fabulous example of a popular acoustic guitar market trend – all Mahogany construction. The top, back and sides are all Mahogany resulting in a warm yet focused tone with a full rich mid-range.
Compact Body Design
Designed with smaller players and children in mind, the compact body is comfortable for extended playing sessions and the deep venetian cutaway offer excellent access to the upper reaches of the fretboard.
Pearloid Enhancements
Drawing on the retro vibe of the 1950’s “rock n roll” era, the pearloid headstock facing and pickguard add character and uniqueness to a guitar that is everything but kitsch.
Active Electronics
The Cort Jade series guitar includes an active Pre-amp with 3-band EQ for tonal flexibility and a built-in LED tuner for convenience. This high-value EQ system faithfully reproduces the acoustic qualities of this fine guitar when amplified.
Vintage-Style Machine Heads
There is an increasing trend towards retro-inspired vintage style machine heads and this Cort doesn’t disappoint. Relatively lightweight open gear tuners (18:1 tuning ratio) offer stability and make the tuning process a breeze.
Scooped Bridge
The exclusive Cort scooped bridge provides a greater string angle from the saddle to the body while reducing tension on the strings across the neck. The results are less finger fatigue, improved playability and enhanced sustain.

There is a reason some guitars are heavily discounted…badly setup, played and mauled to death on the shop floor, B-stock and the list goes on . . .
This Cort Jade Classic series guitar is brand new and unplayed. It has been thoroughly checked over to ensure that it meets the manufacturer’s specifications. That doesn’t mean that it has been “set-up” though. A “set-up” is almost undefineable. Experienced players have their own preferences and beginners often don’t know the difference – until their fingers begin to hurt.
Our Pro-SCM setups are in high demand. Not only do we use our vast experience to bring old guitars back to life, we more-than-often complete the finishing touches somehow missed at the factory. Every guitar has its own set of variables and among other things we pay close attention to fret levelling, rolling the sharp edges of frets, hand polishing frets to deliver a smooth and slinky feel, string height, neck set, neck angle and the list goes on. Our aim is to provide a guitar that you don’t even have to think about when you pick it up to play . . . just enjoy.
