We are located in the beautiful Shoalhaven, two hours south of Sydney in South Eastern New South Wales and it is definitely worth the drive!

Established in March 1985, from the very beginning our mission has been to provide the best possible service and most comprehensive range of musical instruments to musicians at all levels.

With more than 100 years combined experience, SCM staff are ready to serve you, providing you with the benefit of their knowledge, expertise and guidance to ensure that your Musical dreams and ambitions are best realised.

Southcoastmusic is very much a “destination store” with many instruments on display rarely seen in City stores and the largest and most comprehensive range of Musical Instruments on the NSW South Coast with more than 3000 stringed instruments in stock!

Southcoastmusic is an authorised dealer for the major brand names which means that when you buy from us you will get the benefit of our backup and service complete with the manufacturer’s warranty! We are also an authorised Maton Service Centre.

We work with the creme of Australia’s most experience Luthiers to repair and restore instruments to the highest level. Restrings, setups, pickup installations and most minor repairs are carried out onsite in our purpose built workshop.

Among SCM’s staff are working Musicians, Sound Engineers, Luthiers, Actors and Teachers with experience gained on stages around the World. We understand Music, we live and breathe Music and we are sure that we can help you with yours.
